Awards:
 
  • 2006 ~ Jaehn was selected as one of five inaugural VSA arts Teaching Artist Fellows, a national professional development program for adult artists with disabilities in the visual and performing arts.
  • 2005 ~ Jaehn received the inaugural Chaikin Prize, named in honor of renowned theater director Joseph Chaikin; the award recognizes theater artists with disabilities who have made significant contributions to the field.
  • 1996 ~ VSA arts of Minnesota established the Jaehny, an annual Arts Access Award given to individuals and organizations in Minnesota;  the award was named after Jaehn in acknowledgement of her service as Chair of the Founding Board of Directors of VSA arts of Minnesota (1986), and her ongoing professional artistic endeavors.
  • 1995 ~ Jaehn's performance of Belle’s on Wheels received an Indie Award for Outstanding Achievement from the Independent newspaper of Santa Barbara, California.
  • 1989 ~ Belle’s on Wheels received a Commission Award from the British Arts Council / London, England.
