I’m Patricia Brock from Louisville, KY, and owner of Captures of Nature. As a child nature fascinated me and I began taking photographs with my mother's box camera. My love for capturing nature around me became a professional pursuit after I retired from teaching. My photographs display an explosion of color showcasing the images exactly as they are found in nature. Each image holds a special memory and place in time.
My work is printed on archival papers or canvas and in many sizes, from a small notecard to an image large enough for a prominent wall space. I have exhibited for six years in Kentucky Crafted: The Market beginning in 2002, and had work exhibited in the 2007 Kentucky Visions at the Capitol. Currently my work can be seen in galleries and state parks across Kentucky and in many private residences.
