Community art participation:

  • "Musical Theatre Talk":  An online radio show featuring Broadway performers and afficianados, exploring all things Musical Theatre.  http://www.MusicalTheatreTalk.com
  • Workshops of original music:  "Witchcraze": April 2007 and February 2008.  "Two Hearts" workshops will be held in Washington, D.C. in the summer of 2010.
  • Workshops:  I have several classes that I love to teach that deal with Auditions, Vocal Training, Make-up (Basic and Prosthetics), Yoga and Movement, and Stage Managing.  I have been hired as a Vocal Coach at several schools, a Nashville country band, and arts venues.
  • PAWS (Performing Arts Workshop Series): This is my creation to get teens and newbies alike interested in the theatre.  I organize and teach Master Classes of various topics regarding the theatre and the voice.
  • Theatre Production as Fundraiser:  In February 2006, I produced and directed "The Vagina Monologues" with my company, Gathering Grove Productions, raising $5,000 for the Gulf Coast Women's Center for Nonviolence to help with their losses due to Hurricane Katrina.
  • Gathering Grove Productions:  In July 2005, I started my company, Gathering Grove Productions, to focus on "Working for Human Rights Through the Arts".  In August 2005, Hurricane Katrina hit the Mississippi Gulf Coast and forced the postponement of many planned projects.  With GGP, I have produced a couple of workshops and the Women's Center fundraiser.  With a great need for funding and elbow grease, GGP is on hiatus at this time.
