Fulbright Fellow, Poland, 2003-04, Artist's Fellowship Louisiana Division of the Arts 2002, Robert and Bernice Webb Award for Excellence, Graduate Teaching, National Audio Theatre Festivals Script Writing 2002, Producer Fellowship CPB at WWOZ-FM New Orleans, 1994. She performed on KUT-FM radio programs and her live broadcast performances with the East of Eden Band were recorded and distributed to radio stations internationally. They became part of the 1980s indie audio cassette/radio station network which offered alternatives to commercial recordings. The archival and remastered recordings by Gorski along with a radio drama she wrote and directed that aired on KRVS-FM radio helped to popularize further the genre of "performance poetry" that she named.
